Dubai layover tours, planned around your connection

A layover tour is simple in principle: meet a guide after immigration, see Dubai privately, return to the terminal you depart from. What makes it work is the planning — knowing how long the airport really takes and refusing to gamble with your onward flight.

How long does a Dubai layover need to be?

With the estimates we use, our shortest tour (about three hours) needs a connection of roughly seven and a half hours. The Classic tour needs around nine to ten; the longer experiences, twelve to thirteen. Collecting checked bags adds time. Check My Stopover calculates it for your exact flights.

What happens at the airport

After you clear immigration and customs, your guide meets you in the arrivals hall of your terminal. Normal airport parking and 30 minutes of waiting from the confirmed meeting time are included. If your inbound flight is delayed, we adjust — it is never treated as you being late.

Where you can go

Old Dubai and the Creek are closest to DXB and fit most connections. Downtown, the Museum of the Future, Jumeirah, the Palm and the Marina join the route as time grows. The desert suits longer connections or travellers who have seen the city before.

Private, not shared

Every layover tour is private: your group only, in a private vehicle, with a clear total price for 1–6 guests included. Groups of 7 or more receive a custom quotation.

Entering the UAE

Leaving the airport requires UAE entry approval. Requirements depend on your passport and circumstances, so we point you to official sources instead of guessing.

Questions travellers ask

Can I leave Dubai airport during a layover?

Many passengers can, subject to UAE immigration approval and having enough time. Check the official entry sources for your passport before you travel.

Do I need to collect my luggage for a Dubai layover tour?

Not if it is checked through to your final destination. If you must collect it, allow extra time; bags can travel in the private vehicle.

How much is a private Dubai layover tour?

From AED 999 for the Express tour, AED 1,199 for the Classic and AED 1,499 for the Modern — each a total for 1–6 guests, including airport pickup and return. Desert options: AED 1,299 for the Morning Desert and AED 1,599 for the Evening Desert.
