Terminal 3 is the home of Emirates and also handles some flydubai flights, with gates in Concourses A, B and C. It is one of the largest terminal buildings in the world — which is exactly why walking time belongs in your plan.
We meet you in the Terminal 3 arrivals hall after immigration and customs. Your exact Dubai International Airport meeting point and your guide/driver contact details will be provided after your booking is confirmed. Stopover Dubai is independent and is not connected with Emirates.
Arriving at Concourse A involves an internal train to reach immigration. We allow for it in our estimates, but on the day the airport sets the pace — and we plan the return to give you time for security and the walk to your gate.
If your bags are checked through, you leave with cabin bags only — the easiest way to make a stopover work. If you must collect bags, tell us so we allow the time and the space in the vehicle.
Terminal 3 is a short drive from Old Dubai and around twenty to thirty minutes from Downtown in normal traffic, which makes it a practical base for a stopover.
Meeting point: Your exact Dubai International Airport meeting point and your guide/driver contact details will be provided after your booking is confirmed.
Terminal allocations change — always check your ticket or dubaiairports.ae.
Leaving Dubai International Airport is subject to UAE entry requirements and immigration approval. Please confirm that you are eligible to enter the UAE before booking.
Most international airlines other than Emirates; its gates form Concourse D.
flydubai and a number of regional airlines. It sits on the other side of the airfield from Terminals 1 and 3.
Everything we check before we tell a traveller “yes, that fits”. Read it once and you will be able to judge your own connection — and you will know why we sometimes say no.
