Your layover at DXB Terminal 2
Terminal 2 is used by flydubai and a number of regional airlines. It sits on the opposite side of the airfield from Terminals 1 and 3 — a detail that matters when your onward flight leaves from a different terminal.
Meeting your guide
We meet you in the Terminal 2 arrivals area after immigration and customs. Exact instructions and your guide’s contact details arrive with your confirmation.
Changing terminals
Moving between Terminal 2 and Terminals 1 or 3 takes longer than many travellers expect. When we plan your return, we drive you to your departure terminal, so the transfer between terminals is built into your stopover rather than added to it.
Luggage
On separate tickets you may need to collect and re-check your bags. Tell us, and we will allow the extra time and confirm a vehicle with room for them.
Is Terminal 2 a good place to start?
Yes. Terminal 2 is on the Deira side of the airport, close to Old Dubai, so the Creek and the souks are easy first stops.

Most international airlines other than Emirates; its gates form Concourse D.
DXB Terminal 3
Emirates, plus some flydubai flights. Its gates form Concourses A, B and C.
